Sail of Fancy After a 2hour flight from Male to Kaadedhdhoo Airport in the south atoll, we hopped on a beautiful white & blue yatch, which read 'Jumeriah' in gold, for the half hour trip to our final destination. We were greeted by a dedicated butler, who was going to be a part of our entire blissful trip. Once we were on sail, we could see an untouched nature around. On our way to the jetty, Ocean Pearls, a cluster of water villas located 800 metres from the main island, suspended on platforms above the most iridescent sea in the world and entirely self dependent.
A hearty welcome As we arrived at the jetty of Devnafushi island, we had a warm welcome from the resort supervisors, who introduced themselves. Jumeriah Devanafushi has made it a tradition to welcome every guest in their own Maldivian culture, just creating a sense of personal care and attention for us in the coming days. Through all the way we were least bothered about our luggages, as we had a dedicated butler who took care of our every little thing.
Beachfront bliss We had our first sight of our Beach revive, palm thatched roof, tiled floors, with outdoor shower, together with a deck area with daybeds and loungers to relax on. Dropping of your roller case in one over the luxurious beach revives, the first thought is that you never want to leave. With your own private sundeck overlooking a crystal sea, flat screen TV, walking wardrobes, every comfort is provided for. Paths from each villa lead down to your own private beach of crystalline water. Inside each spacious villa, there is ample room to relax and enjoy the sunrise or sunset through large sweeping windows. Guests can enjoy the breathtaking view from extravagant day beds on a private open deck, a private beach and a private garden.
