Thomas Cook India, SOTC Team Up with Mauritius Tourism to Boost Travel

Thomas Cook (India) and SOTC Travel have signed a memorandum of understanding with the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) to strengthen tourism from India. The partnership aims to showcase Mauritius' scenic beaches, turquoise lagoons, and vibrant cultural heritage, while tapping into India's growing leisure and business travel market.

The collaboration will highlight Mauritius' Creole culture, cuisine, festivals, and diverse traditions, leveraging its strong cultural ties to India. With ,b.visa-free access, short flights, and a wide range of resorts, Mauritius is emerging as a preferred choice for honeymoons, family vacations, millennials, Gen Z travelers, and corporate MICE events.

The partnership will focus on destination education, product development, and marketing campaigns to boost visibility across India's metro, mini-metro, and Tier 2 and 3 cities. It aims to create curated travel experiences and strengthen Mauritius' positioning as a multi-faceted destination for leisure and business travel.
