Hagia Sophia Museum is an attractive landmark of Turkey's Istanbul city. Earlier, the museum Hagia Sophia was an Orthodox Patriarchal Basilica and later converted to a mosque. This famous museum catches much attention because of its massive dome, which is considered as the archetype of Byzantine architecture that is believed to have 'changed the history of architecture.'

Museum Hagia Sophia was changed into a mosque way back in the year 1453 by Mehmed II, after the conquest of Constantinople. Later in 1935, Turkish government transformed the building into a museum restoring the beautiful interior decorations with mosaics and marbles.
