Thailand Tourism Campaign Generates 448M+ Impressions

Thailand Tourism Campaign Generates 448M+ ImpressionsThailand’s Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has reported strong results from its Amazing Thailand Ambassador campaign, with the initiative generating more than 448 million media impressions and significant international attention. The campaign is part of Thailand’s broader effort to strengthen its position as a leading global tourism destination by connecting travellers with the country’s diverse destinations, culture and experiences.

The campaign featured global artist LISA, who was appointed as an Amazing Thailand Ambassador. Through the campaign, TAT sought to introduce Thailand to audiences through contemporary storytelling and experiences that go beyond traditional destination advertising.

Built around the theme “Feel All the feelings,” the initiative presented Thailand through different travel experiences and destinations. The campaign also aimed to encourage visitors to explore locations beyond the country's most familiar tourist attractions.

According to TAT, the campaign generated more than 448 million media impressions, while its advertising films recorded over 89.4 million views. TAT also reported total media engagement of more than 464 million and a public-relations value exceeding THB 567 million.

Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor, Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), said :

“Travel decisions are no longer driven solely by searches for destination information. They are increasingly influenced by stories, content, and experiences that inspire people and create an emotional connection even before the journey begins.”

The campaign highlighted several destinations across Thailand, including the Red Lotus Sea in Udon Thani, Wat Chedi Luang in Chiang Mai, Wat Arun in Bangkok, Ko Thalu in Rayong and Khao Sok National Park. By featuring different regions, TAT aimed to demonstrate the variety of experiences available to international and domestic travellers.

The initiative also incorporated a destination-focused activity titled “Feel All the feelings, Seeking Thailand’s Wonders.” The activity was designed to encourage travellers to experience destinations highlighted through the campaign rather than limiting their trips to established tourist centres.

TAT has also cited travel-demand data as an indication of continued interest in Thailand. According to Traveloka data referenced by TAT, international demand for travel to Thailand increased by 10%, while demand from Thai travellers increased by 25%. Accommodation booking demand from Southeast Asian travellers reportedly increased by more than 30% compared with the previous year.

The campaign demonstrates how tourism authorities are increasingly combining global personalities, digital content and destination storytelling to reach potential travellers. Instead of relying only on conventional advertising, tourism campaigns are increasingly designed around content that can be shared across social-media and digital platforms.

For Thailand, the Amazing Thailand Ambassador campaign provides an opportunity to showcase both established attractions and less-explored destinations. The reported reach also highlights the role that digital storytelling can play in introducing destinations to international audiences and encouraging travellers to consider different regions of a country.

As global tourism becomes increasingly competitive, destination authorities are looking for new ways to connect with travellers before they make booking decisions. Thailand’s latest campaign reflects this shift by combining entertainment, cultural experiences and destination promotion to create broader visibility for the country's tourism offerings.
